Maintenance Supervisor
Working Hours
Mon-Fri: 8am – 5pm
What you’ll be doing:
· Support the Maintenance Manager with the planning, prioritisation and scheduling of maintenance activities.
· Review maintenance records and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
· Attend production meetings to coordinate engineering priorities
· Support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
· Assist with service schedules, inspections and compliance requirements.
· Work closely with Engineering and Site Management to monitor maintenance budgets and expenditure.
· Support responses to engineering emergencies
· Raise and manage purchase orders for maintenance requirements.
· Support the development and training of maintenance personnel.
· Ensure engineering work instructions and procedures remain up to date.
· Manage stock control for engineering spare parts, consumables and fuels.
· Maintain optimum stock levels to support operational requirements.
· Ensure engineering stores are maintained to a high housekeeping standard.
· Implement and maintain accurate stock control systems.
· Manage the ordering of spare parts and consumables.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of engineering parts and consumables.
What we’re looking for:
· Minimum 5 years' experience in a Supervisory role or a similar engineering leadership position.
· Previous management or supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
· Experience managing contractors, suppliers and external service providers.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
· Excellent relationship-building and influencing abilities.
· Strong analytical skills with experience managing budgets and cost control.
· Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results within agreed timescales.
· Good understanding of maintenance planning and engineering operations.
