Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other food items in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and sanitising work surfaces
- Manage time effectively to handle high-volume periods during busy hours
- Assist with upselling additional menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all health and safety procedures to create a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and portion control
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
