We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nursery Managers and Room Leaders to join our vibrant childcare teams in Ilford and Dartford. Responsibilities
- Lead daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children and staff
- Oversee the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and creativity
- Manage staff schedules, provide coaching, support professional development, and foster a collaborative team culture
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold high standards of health and safety
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through clear communication, updates on children’s progress, and addressing any concerns
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for children's development plans, attendance, and other administrative tasks
Skills
- Proven management and leadership experience in early childhood or childcare settings
- Extensive knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with children, parents, staff, and external agencies
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team while maintaining a positive work environment
- Experience working with children across different age groups within a nursery or preschool setting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance documentation
- Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate transportation needs between locations or for home visits when necessary

Pay: £28,420.00-£37,492.76 per year
