Linthwaite House, part of the Leeu Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio, is looking for a dedicated gardener to join our team at our beautiful hotel overlooking Lake Windermere.
This role does not provide accommodation -Salary negotiable dependant on experience
Gardener Requirements:
- Previous gardening and/or landscaping experience is desirable
- Able to carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to safely operate a range of gardening equipment to a high standard
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Live-out position

Responsibilities:
- All aspects of routine gardening tasks to include:
- Lawn care - Grass cutting, scarifying, fertilising
- Hedge cutting
- Autumn strimming and clearing of meadow areas
- Routine clearing of leaves
- Weeding
- Pruning
- Planting
- Assisting with the daily maintenance of 6 hot tubs (Full training will be given)
- Assist the property maintenance team as required
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
- Ensure that all work is completed while minimising disruption to guests
