Job Description:
As a Hairdresser at Hand of Awe, you will be an integral part of our new team, bringing your creativity and expertise to help build our reputation as the go-to destination for exceptional hair care. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, tailored to each client's individual needs. We are looking for stylists who are not only skilled but also eager to contribute to our salon’s culture and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultations: Engage with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences, offering expert advice and personalized recommendations.
- Haircutting & Styling: Deliver precision haircuts and creative styling that reflect the latest trends and techniques, while catering to each client’s unique look.
- Coloring & Treatments: Apply a variety of coloring techniques, from classic to contemporary, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting results while maintaining hair health.
- Product Knowledge: Educate clients on the best products for their hair type and style, helping them achieve salon-quality results at home.
- Customer Service: Create an exceptional experience for every client, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and pampered from start to finish.
- Salon Setup & Maintenance: Participate in setting up the salon, organizing tools and products, and maintaining a clean, safe, and stylish environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow stylists and the salon management team to ensure a smooth and successful launch, contributing ideas and feedback.
- Continuous Learning: Stay on top of the latest industry trends, techniques, and products through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Hairdresser.
- Minimum level 2 NVQ Hairdressing qualification.
- Must have own clientele.
- Strong skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and other hair services.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- A passion for the Hair industry and a desire to be part of a growing team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a new salon’s success.
