Sales Estimator - Laser Profiles
Salary £40,000 plus Sales bonus
Based: Darwen Lancashire.
For over 30 years, Laser Profiles has been delivering advanced laser cutting services from our purpose-built, state-of-the-art factory. Our expertise is further enhanced by our tube laser cutting capabilities, enabling us to supply precisely cut parts from flat sheets, plates, and tubes in a variety of shapes, including square, round, oval, and rectangular. We also provide comprehensive sheet metal fabrication services.
Privately owned Laser Profiles is part of WEC Group who have provided fabrication, laser cutting, precision engineering, waterjet/plasma cutting, powder coating, heavy machining and CCTV mounting solutions for over 45 years.
Due to internal progression, we are now offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven Sales Estimator to join our rapidly expanding Estimating team within our Laser Profiles division based from our head office in Darwen
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings.
- Create labour/material costings and routing information.
- Liaise with suppliers and manage sub-contract requirements.
- Prepare and input full quotations for customers.
- Handle enquiries, provide technical support, and resolve queries.
- Work closely with internal teams to keep projects on track.
We’re Looking For:
- Ability to have technical discussions and sell Laser Profiles capabilities.
- Working knowledge of laser cutting, fabrication and subcontract manufacturing.
- Understand RFQs and technical drawings, providing practical design guidance.
- Experience in sales, business development, and account management.
- Read fabrication drawings and complete complex quotations accurately.

Hours of work:
Week 1 Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm
Week 2 Mon- Thurs 8-5 Friday 1pm
Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
