Care Assistant | Luxury Domicillary Care | £17 per hour
We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to join our team delivering high-quality home care across London.
At Venelle, we do things differently.
We provide a more considered, relationship-led approach to care, supporting clients in their own homes with a focus on quality, discretion, and enabling people to continue living well.
This is not high-volume, task-led domiciliary care. You will typically support one or two clients and be given the time to deliver care properly.
About the role
You will be supporting clients, primarily older individuals, in their own homes in some of London’s most desirable areas.
This role combines excellent clinical and practical care with companionship and day-to-day support. Many of our clients are looking for a calm, capable presence in their home, someone who can provide reassurance, continuity, and thoughtful support.
We are looking for individuals who are naturally attentive, take pride in their work, and understand the importance of delivering care in a way that feels respectful and unobtrusive.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience working as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is essential
- A calm, professional and reliable approach
- Strong communication skills and good judgement
- Someone who is comfortable working in private homes and can adapt to different environments
- A genuine interest in supporting people to live well, not just completing tasks
This role would suit someone who takes pride in delivering care to a high standard and wants to work in an environment where that is recognised.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
- Supporting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and ensuring client safety
- Supporting with meals, hydration and medication
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes appropriately
- Providing companionship and meaningful engagement based on individual interests
- Supporting with light household tasks such as laundry, bed changes and maintaining a well-presented home
- Maintaining accurate and professional care records
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure consistent, high standards of care
