7.5T Drivers – Two Positions Available
Jobsworth Recruitment is currently recruiting for two experienced 7.5T Drivers to join a well-established company based in Halesowen.
Both positions offer temp-to-perm opportunities, giving you the chance to move into a permanent role following a successful period working through Jobsworth.
There are two different roles available, depending on whether you prefer to be home every night or are happy with an occasional night away.
Position 1 – Monday to Friday | Home Every Night
£13.36 per hour with a 7.5T licence
£14.50 per hour with a Class 2 licence
- Monday–Friday
- Day shifts
- Local and regional deliveries
- Home every night
- No regular nights out
- Full-time hours
Position 2 – Approximately 1 Night Out Per Week
£13.36 per hour with a 7.5T licence
£14.50 per hour with a Class 2 licence
- Monday–Friday
- Day shifts
- Approximately 1 night out per week
- Local and regional deliveries
- Accommodation provided and paid for
- Parking expenses covered
- Food/meals covered
- All reasonable overnight expenses paid
The second role is ideal for a driver who doesn't mind the occasional night away but doesn't want to be out all week.
The Role
Depending on the position, you'll be responsible for carrying out deliveries across local and regional areas.
Duties may include:
- Driving 7.5T vehicles
- Delivering goods to customers and businesses
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Securing loads safely
- Completing vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Providing a professional service to customers
- Working safely and within legal driving requirements
What We're Looking For
- Valid 7.5T / Category C1 licence or Class 2 / Category C licence
- In-date Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous 7.5T or Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Maximum 6 points
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good customer service skills
- Comfortable with loading, unloading and manual handling
- Good geographical knowledge
