As demand for low-carbon heating continues to grow, we're looking for a Heat Pump Technical Surveyor to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in plumbing, heating, renewables or technical surveying who enjoys solving problems, meeting customers and ensuring installations are planned properly from day one.
About the Role
As a Heat Pump Technical Surveyor, you'll carry out detailed pre-installation surveys at customers' homes before works begin.
You'll work closely with our design, operations and installation teams to ensure every installation is technically correct, compliant and ready for a smooth installation.
Your surveys will form the foundation of every successful project.
Full product and company training will be provided, although previous heating or technical experience would be highly advantageous.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out pre-installation heat pump surveys at customer properties.
- Assessing existing heating systems, pipework and hot water cylinders.
- Identifying the best location for indoor and outdoor equipment.
- Recording technical measurements and property information.
- Identifying electrical, plumbing and installation requirements.
- Planning pipework routes and installation logistics.
- Assessing access, lifting requirements and scaffolding where necessary.
- Taking accurate photographs and survey notes.
- Explaining the installation process to customers.
- Working closely with our design and installation teams to ensure every project is fully prepared before installation.
About You
