Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centered care in clients' own home
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition
- Prompt or assist with medication in line with care plans
- Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry and shopping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing
- Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible
- Accurately complete care records and report any concerns to the office
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals
- Always follow company policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines

Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Drivers must have access to a vehicle and hold a valid UK driving licence
- Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential as full training will be provided
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
