Tinto Tapas Bar/The Nook EAST KILBRIDE is looking for a front of house member to join our team!
We have a lively, popular Spanish tapas restaurant upstairs & a cocktail bar (The Nook) downstairs that has recently undergone a rebrand, The Nook centers coffee/brunch during the day & cocktails at night, shifts could be split over both floors or predominantly kept to one depending on candidates' preferences. Job will include dealing with customers, taking orders, making drinks including coffees and cocktails, serving food.
Candidates should be friendly with good customer service skills, someone with initiative in this kind of busy environment & a team player! We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere & customer satisfaction.
Shifts include but are not limited to evening and weekend work, our rota is flexible but general availability on Tuesday/Friday & Saturday evenings is expected as these are our busiest periods. A good level of experience in bar or restaurant work & an ability to occasionally work independantly is preferred.
Requirements:
-Available for a full time position ranging 30 - 40 hours a week.
-18+ as servers will be asked to work with alcohol regularly
-Previous experience in a bar-tending or service position
-Availability at weekends
-Lives in or close to EAST KILBRIDE & is capable of travelling to and from work
-Enjoys being part of a business centered in teamwork
