Froyo Shop Assistant
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and organised person to join Snowfall, our frozen yoghurt shop in Marylebone.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys working with people, keeping a space clean and organised, and taking pride in presentation.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly service
- Serving frozen yoghurt and preparing customer orders
- Mixing simple ingredients and preparing toppings, sauces and other items following easy recipes and instructions
- No cooking is required
- Setting up the shop and counter before opening
- Restocking ingredients, cups, spoons and supplies throughout the day
- Keeping the counter, equipment and customer areas clean and tidy
- Washing utensils, containers and equipment as required
- Carrying out general cleaning throughout the day and at closing
- Following food hygiene and food safety procedures carefully
- Taking payments and using the till
- Helping open and close the shop
- Making sure products are always presented neatly and consistently
What we’re looking for
- Friendly, welcoming and comfortable speaking to customers
- Very clean and hygiene-conscious
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Organised and able to keep on top of cleaning and restocking without needing constant direction
- Comfortable carrying out cleaning as part of the role
- Positive attitude and willing to help wherever needed
- Previous café, food service or retail experience is helpful but not essential
The food preparation is simple and full training will be provided. There is no cooking involved, but attention to cleanliness, hygiene and consistency is very important.
Location: Marylebone, London
Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 11am–6pm
Job type: Part-time / Full-time hours available
