We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our small friendly care home in the village of Kirton. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional residential care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Duties
- Lead the home in line with CQC regulations, ensuring continuous compliance and readiness for inspection.
- Provide strong, visible leadership to staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
- Oversee care planning, risk management, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, recruitment, and rota planning to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive improvement plans, audits, and evidence‑based practice across all areas of the home.
- Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting, and governance systems are consistently maintained.
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced care‑home leader with a proven track record in residential or nursing care.
- Knowledgeable in CQC standards, safeguarding, and quality frameworks.
- Skilled in staff management, coaching, and building a positive workplace culture.
- Confident in decision‑making, problem‑solving, and handling complex situations.
- Compassionate, resident‑focused, and committed to delivering outstanding care.
- Qualified to Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care
