HR Business Partner
Salary: £47,322 per annum with 10% annual bonus potential (pro rata & subject to eligibility) with 25 days annual leave (pro rata), plus bank holidays
Contract: Fixed-term until 31st March 2027
Location: Working 4 days in a local Royal Mail Delivery Office and 1 day working remotely, with regular travel across the region
Region: South-East - which incorporates the areas in and around Brighton, Maidstone, Croydon, Crawley, Tonbridge, Dartford and Canterbury.

You'll work closely with leaders to align people strategies with wider business objectives, driving organisational performance and supporting change initiatives.
What you'll be doing
As an HR Business Partner, you'll:

Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives.

Build trusted and effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation.

Use people data and business insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.

Provide proactive HR advice and guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations, and performance.

Support the delivery of change and transformation programmes, helping leaders navigate organisational change effectively.

Influence and challenge constructively to achieve the best outcomes for the business and our people.

Collaborate with Centres of Expertise and wider People teams to ensure a consistent and effective HR service.
About you
We're looking for a credible and resilient HR professional who can operate effectively within a large, matrix organisation and is confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
We’re looking for:

CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent HR qualification).

Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence across all levels of an organisation.

Strategic mindset with the ability to connect people initiatives to wider business goals.

Strong analytical skills and experience using data to support recommendations and decision-making.

Experience working within a large, complex organisation.
Desirable requirements:

Experience working in a unionised environment.

Change management experience, supporting organisational transformation and business change.

Ability to adapt communication and influencing style to suit different stakeholders and situations.

Resilient and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
