Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team at the head offices of The Earl of Plymouth Estates.
The head office is located just outside the market town of Ludlow, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, on the same site as our award-winning Ludlow Farmshop.
The ideal candidate will be expected to support the payroll and accounts processes and be able carry out the following duties :
· Payroll administration
· Complete payroll processing from start to finish (this includes but is not limited to) :
- Entering data into payroll software
- Reconciling data from time and attendance software
- Submission of HMRC reports
- Submission of auto enrolment data
- Following HMRC guidelines
· Accounts payable / Accounts receivable processing
· Support the cash and banking procedures
· Support in the production of schedules for the year end audit and maintain files with supporting documentation
· Provide ad hoc work to support the Finance Team for data inputting
· Be proactive in investigating and resolving problems as well as supporting and suggesting process improvements
Key Skills Required :
· Previous payroll experience is essential
· Experience of SAP B1 and Pegasus opera is desirable
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to deliver accurate work to challenging deadlines
· Experience in an accounting role is desirable
· To be professional and discreet when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Job Type : Full time, part time, permanent
Pay : £28,000.00 to £30,000.00 per annum, dependant upon experience
