Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Multi-Skilled Warehouse Operative with valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance FLT licences to join our busy warehouse team.
This is a varied role that combines forklift truck operation with general warehouse duties, supporting the efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods throughout the site.
Shifts: 6 AM till 6 PM (12 hours) Monday to Thursday 6 AM till 4 PM on a Friday (9.5 hours) 55.5 hour workweek.
Duties
- Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Bulk intake of raw materials and stock.
- Wrapping and preparing pallets for storage and dispatch.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Carrying out stock movements and replenishment.
- Completing warehouse paperwork and using handheld scanners where required.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and following health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- Reach and Counterbalance Licence.
- Working in an environment with noise and dust.
- Temperature of working place can vary significantly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Basic maths skills.
