You may have heard: Pig & Olive is expanding. We're opening a brand new restaurant in Barnstaple in the next few weeks, and we're looking for pizza makers who want to be part of it from day one.
Since 2015 we've built a reputation across North Devon for award-winning, proper Neapolitan pizza, recognised by the Devon Food & Drink Awards and North Devon Food Business of the Year. Now we're opening a new site, and this is a genuine ground-floor opportunity: full training, real skills, and a chance to grow with us as we grow.
The Role
This is predominantly a pizza maker role, with most of your shifts spent making and serving Neapolitan pizza to our standard. You'll also cover front-of-house service, so you'll be a genuine all-rounder who's confident wherever you're needed on a given shift.
We're looking for someone ready to build real skills and stick around for the long term, not just fill a summer shift. Full training in pizza making is provided, taught by our most experienced team, and you'll be part of the founding team at our new Barnstaple restaurant.
Day to day, you can expect to:
- Learn to make and serve Neapolitan pizzas to our standard — full training provided.
- Take pride in food quality, prep, and kitchen standards
- Cover front-of-house service, making every customer feel welcome
- Work as part of a close-knit team.
- Work independently when needed, staying productive without needing to be chased
- Help keep the site clean, organised, and running smoothly
Who This Role Is For
