E-commerce & Marketing Co-ordinator

About Us
We are a growing business specialising in garden irrigation products and gardening gifts, supplying customers throughout the UK. As our business continues to expand, we are looking to recruit an organised, creative and commercially minded E-commerce & Marketing Co-ordinator to support the ongoing development of our online brands.
This is a varied role combining e-commerce, digital marketing and content creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing our online presence while helping to promote our products and support business growth.
An interest in gardening, horticulture or irrigation would be a beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our Shopify websites, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and engaging.
- Add new products, write product descriptions and optimise product listings.
- Organise and upload product images and digital assets.
- Create and schedule content across our social media channels.
- Produce regular email newsletters and promotional campaigns.
- Create digital marketing content, including graphics, banners and website content.
- Assist with planning seasonal promotions, product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Research market trends, competitor activity and new product opportunities.
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the whole team to support the continued growth of our online brands.
- Ensure all digital content reflects our brand standards and delivers a consistent customer experience.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using Canva or similar design software.
- Experience of creating both product and social content.
- Experience with email marketing platforms.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to contribute marketing ideas and identify opportunities for improvement.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of SEO and e-commerce best practice.
- Product photography and basic video editing.
- Experience with Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
- Experience within retail, gardening, horticulture or irrigation.
- An interest in gardening, horticulture or outdoor living.
