Ribble are assisting Kent Children’s Services to recruit experienced Social Workers for a range of teams across the county. We currently have vacancies in:

- Children in Care (CIC) – Whitstable / Broadstairs (up to £38 p/h)
- Children in Care (CIC) – Kingshill (up to £42 p/h)
- CSWT – Canterbury (up to £38 p/h)
- CSWT – Dover (up to £38 p/h)
- CSWT – Ashford (up to £38 p/h)
- CSWT – Kingshill (up to £38 p/h)
- CSWT – Folkestone (up to £42 p/h)
- AST – South Kent (up to £38 p/h)
- Kent Intake Unit – Dover (up to £38 p/h)
- CWD – Ashford (up to £38 p/h)
- UASC Case Holding – East Kent (up to £38 p/h)
- Senior Practitioner roles available in selected teams (up to £42 p/h)
The Roles
These are full caseload positions within statutory Children’s Services teams. You will assess need and risk, develop and drive plans, work directly with children and families, and contribute to multi-agency working. Some posts involve duty, intake, court work, children in care, or specialist areas such as UASC and Children with Disabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience of statutory children’s social work
- Strong assessment, analysis and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload and prioritise effectively
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Commitment to high-quality, child-centred practice
- Enhanced DBS
Pay Rates
- Qualified Social Worker roles: up to £38 per hour
- Senior Practitioner roles: up to £42 per hour
