About Us:
We’re an exciting new gastropub in Hampshire near Alresford, and we’re looking for Front of House team members to create a welcoming, memorable experience for every guest. With a focus on seasonal, high-quality food and local drinks, we believe a great pub experience is about more than just what’s on the plate, it’s about building connections and making people feel right at home.
We want passionate, hands-on individuals who provide exceptional service and be the heart of our front-of-house operations.
The Role:
As part of the front of House team, you’ll be involved in overseeing the day-to-day service, making sure our guests always feel welcomed and taken care of. With a focus on quality, efficiency, and great communication, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, and the ability to foster a positive, dynamic team culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere: Make every guest feel like a regular, from the moment they arrive to when they leave.
- Maintain high service standards: Ensure smooth operations, overseeing everything from greeting guests to managing bookings and handling customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams: Work closely with chefs and the team to ensure that food and drinks are delivered in a timely and consistent manner.
- Day-to-day operations: Manage opening and closing procedures, stock control, and ensure that all health and safety standards are followed.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in hospitality: You have a proven track record in front-of-house roles, ideally in a gastropub or similar
- Passionate about service: You’re dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences and building relationships with customers.
- Organized and efficient: You can handle multiple tasks at once, while keeping an eye on every detail.
- Personable and approachable: You connect with people easily and make everyone feel comfortable, whether they’re a regular or a first-time visitor.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary
- A supportive, friendly team environment where we focus on quality and community
- Staff discounts, training opportunities, and other perks
