Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Night Hygiene Operative with experience in industrial cleaning to join our production site in Hayes (UB3 3BL) on a permanent basis, working 5 days a week from 22:00pm to 07:00am.
As part of our Hygiene team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bakery, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sanitising surfaces and equipment.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment effectively and safely.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Deep cleaning of production areas.
- Collect, sort, and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or incidents to the management team.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, including checklists and logbooks.
- Report shortages of cleaning supplies or equipment
- Use specialised equipment such as pressure washers or steam cleaner.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Confident command of English with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in industrial cleaning.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning standards, especially in regulated environments.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.

Additional info
- 5 shifts of 8.5 hours per week organised through a weekly rota and including weekends.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
Pay: £13.22 per hour
