Overview
We're looking for versatile and enthusiastic team members to join us at our new Wine, Cheese and Coffee bar - The Winery Stony Stratford. You will be an essential cog across all areas of our bar. Whether you're serving a fine glass of wine, or welcoming and seating guests with a warm smile, your role is to ensure every customer has an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement - Meet and greet customers, offering a friendly welcome and helping them to their table.
- Serving - Taking orders, serving food and drinks and ensuring that every aspect of service is smooth and professional.
- Wine Presentation - Helping customers choose their selections and guiding them through their wine flights with knowledge, enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Maintaining Cleanliness & Organization - Keep all areas of the bar clean, organized and well stocked, ensuring a pleasant environment for both customers and staff.
- Team Collaboration - Work closely with your colleagues to ensure seamless service across all areas of the bar.
- Continuous Learning - Participate in ongoing training to expand your knowledge of wines, cheese and coffee, ensuring you can confidently assist and engage with customers in every department.
Qualifications/Training
We are looking for applicants with previous hospitality experience or wine knowledge.
No formal sommelier training? No problem! We offer comprehensive training to help you develop your wine knowledge and service skills. What's most important to us is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn and your impeccable standards. We provide training in all aspects of our operations. Whether it's wine knowledge, barista skills or customer service techniques, we'll equip you with everything you need to excel in your role and contribute to our top tier hospitality experience.
Schedule:
Please only apply if you can guarantee Friday evenings and Saturday availability. The shift patterns run between Wednesday - Sunday, however we do require definite availability Fridays & Saturdays.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
