Assistant Restaurant Manager – Cannonball Restaurant & Bar
£33,000 salary + TRONC | OTE up to £40,000 | 44 hours over 4 days
We are looking for a confident, knowledgeable and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Cannonball Restaurant & Bar.
We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional who is efficient, hardworking and passionate about delivering excellent service. You will work closely with our Front of House and Kitchen teams to create a warm, welcoming and efficient environment for both our guests and our team.
About the role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of Cannonball, supporting the management team and ensuring consistently high standards across the restaurant.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, supporting and motivating the Front of House team
- Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service
- Supporting the smooth running of service
- Training and developing team members
- Ensuring revenue streams are effectively managed
- Working towards and delivering business targets
- Ensuring reporting and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Working closely with the Kitchen and wider management team
- Helping to create a positive, efficient and knowledgeable working environment
What we're looking for
Previous hospitality and restaurant management experience is essential.

Cannonball Restaurant & Bar is part of Contini, a family-run business with three award-winning restaurants in Edinburgh City Centre.
