We are seeking a skilled and motivated Consultant Solicitor to join our growing practice. The right candidate will also be the firm's COLP and work closely with management. The Role
You will manage your own caseload of family/immigration matters, providing high-quality advice and representation to clients.
You will be expected to deliver excellent client care, contribute to the development of the family law team, and proactively build your own caseload with the support of the firm’s wider network.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of private family law matters from instruction to completion
- Advising clients with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
- Preparing legal documents and conducting advocacy where appropriate
- Meeting financial targets with fee-earning and billing responsibilities
- Developing client relationships and contributing to business development
- Performing COLP responsibilities
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE
- Strong knowledge of family law and procedure
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage and grow a caseload effectively
