Elan Sales Ltd is a long-established importer of industrial floor cleaning equipment for sale & hire, based in Eastleigh covering the south of the country. We have an exciting opportunity for a service engineer to join our family run company. We are looking for an engineer with experience of servicing and repairs on industrial scrubber dryers and floor sweepers or similar machinery to cover the South East primarily. We are offering £30,000 to £40,000 basic salary depending on experience.
Working Hours Monday-Thursday 6am-3pm and 6am- 3.00pm Friday
- Remuneration 30k to 40k depending on experience basic, plus overtime/bonus
- 28 Days Annual leave including bank holidays.
- Main workplace: Eastleigh Depot / South East England / Midlands
- You must hold a clean full UK Driver’s Licence.
- Use of a Service Van for commuting to/from Customer’s premises.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduled maintenance, repairs and refurbishments on:
Floor Cleaning Equipment – Mains powered (single phase), battery-powered and engine driven (petrol, diesel & LPG) some with hydraulics. Mainly battery driven machines both pedestrian and ride on.
Requirements include:
Your service vehicle is adequately stocked with parts, tools, and PPE.
Work to be carried out to a high standard safely and efficiently.
Faults with machines are recorded and reported.
Service schedules to be completed
Parts required identified through technical drawings and communication with colleagues or suppliers.
Offering technical assistance over the phone.
Other tasks as required
PDI new machines.
Prepare machines for demonstration.
Prepare/Deliver hire machines.
Ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness and general maintenance of your workplace and service vehicle.
Reporting any H&S concerns or risks.
