This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Mental Health Team for a six-month secondment.
The Adult Social Care Mental Health Team offers a social work service that includes needs assessment, eligible care and support plans, and a strengths-based, outcome focused enabling response to adults with complex mental health problems and potential co-occurring issues who are not receiving secondary mental health services.
The team is co located with ARC, working in an integrated way, your focus will be on providing a range of strengths-based, outcome focused social work interventions, underpinned by a philosophy of recovery, building resilience, social inclusion and maximising community and social engagement.
As a member of the team, you will share with other members the responsibility for the effective operation of the service and participate in its ongoing development.
Ideally, you will have an experience of working with adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced Children and Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
