Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time housekeeper to join our team.
The hours are 9am until 2/3pm on Saturdays and Sundays with the possibility of extra hours during the week.
Housekeeping or hotel experience is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.
This is a physical role which requires lots of moving around with some heavy lifting.
An eye for detail and the ability to work to a time limit is crucial
Hourly pay will include your holiday pay rolled up, so the hourly rate is up to £14.24.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors to ensure a pristine environment.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
