Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy robust software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient application architectures.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems by troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Write clean, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Manage source code using version control systems including GitHub, SVN, Git, and utilise tools like Azure DevOps.
- Integrate third-party APIs and RESTful services to extend application functionalities.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Optimise database interactions with SQL-based systems like MySQL and SQL Server to ensure performance efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous integration processes to uphold quality standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development across multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
- Demonstrable expertise in front-end development with experience in HTML5, CSS3, frameworks such as React or Angular is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), REST architecture, and integration techniques.
- Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and management.
- Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, SVN or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems for development and deployment purposes.
- Experience with application development involving databases like MySQL or SQL Server is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
