Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Hours of work - 35 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm)

Job Purpose
The requirement is for an NQ - 5 years+ PQE Solicitor for a full-time role in our Manchester office [M3].
Working within Financial Mis-Selling Litigation with a strong track record of assisting with or independently conducting litigation on client matters. You will be expected to provide an exceptional legal service and advice to clients, always operating with a ‘client first’ mind-set.
You will have a unique opportunity to work closely with our highly reputable team leader solicitor to establish yourself well within the department and firm.
Competency Requirements
· Responsible for managing a focused caseload of claimant Financial Mis-Selling cases from initial instruction to resolution of the claim.
· Providing clients with high quality, attentive and proactive legal advice.
· Providing assistance to other members within the team.
· Effective time-management, punctuality and organisation skills
· Achieving the business’s time recording and settlement/fee targets and assisting and enabling others in the team to do so.
· Delivering legal services in a manner which is cost-efficient for both the client and the firm.
· The ability to provide solutions for clients and communicate this in a way that they can understand, both in writing and on the telephone.
· A detailed approach to your the work and the ability to work to tight timescales when required.
· Highly organised and highly detail orientated.
· Good understanding of Civil Litigation with the ability to undertake research and to be able to apply this to cases.
· Demonstrating strong drafting skills including drafting letters of claim, letters of instructions to experts, instructions to counsel, preparing schedules of loss and drafting claim forms.
Skills & Qualifications
· NQ- 5 years+ PQE as a Solicitor Practiced in Civil Litigation.
· Experience in Financial Mis-selling, desirable but not essential.
