Role Description
This is a part-time and flexible role for a Private Tutor based in London. The Private Tutor will provide one-on-one tutoring to students, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles and goals. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging and constructive sessions, monitoring student progress, and providing detailed feedback after each session.
Qualifications
- Teaching expertise including a strong grasp of curriculum requirements and exam preparation techniques
- Ability to design personalised lesson plans, assess student progress, and modify approaches to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a supportive and positive learning atmosphere
- Prior experience in one-on-one tutoring or classroom teaching (or working towards TEFL/PGCE)
- Capability to provide constructive feedback and motivate students effectively
- Proficiency in using technology for online tutoring, if required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with students of different ages and learning abilities is advantageous
