Summary
We are seeking a dedicated General Teaching Assistant ideally with SEN experience too to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the educational needs of children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive personalized care and attention to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to students' individual needs.
- Assist children with special educational needs, including those with autism and disabilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Support children's social and emotional development through constructive interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of autism and disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or childcare are preferred.

Pay: £12.21-£14.32 per hour
