Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial spaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to ensure health standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risk of accidents or contamination
- Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and organised throughout the shift
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous but not mandatory
