The Mountain Factor and Fjällräven Ambleside are looking for enthusiastic new team members to join our friendly and experienced retail team.
As a long-established independent outdoor retailer in the heart of Ambleside, we’re passionate about helping customers find the right clothing and equipment for their next adventure. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and share a love of the outdoors, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing outstanding customer service.
- Helping customers choose the right outdoor clothing and equipment.
- Learning about premium outdoor brands and their technical features.
- Maintaining high standards throughout the store.
- Working as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with leading brands including:
- Fjällräven
- Patagonia
- YETI
- and many more.
What we’re looking for
- Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An interest in outdoor activities and equipment.
- A willingness to learn about technical products.
- Reliable and flexible, including weekend working.
- Previous retail experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.
