About the Role
168 Training Ltd is looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Training Centre Administrator to support the day-to-day running and continued growth of our training centre.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys dealing with people, keeping multiple tasks organised and helping to promote and fill training courses.
You will be the central point of contact between our delegates, trainers and management team, ensuring courses are properly organised from initial enquiry and booking through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to telephone, email and online enquiries about training courses Booking delegates onto courses and maintaining accurate course records Sending joining instructions, course information and reminders to delegates Raising invoices and monitoring outstanding course payments Following up customers regarding overdue or outstanding payments Maintaining the training calendar and advertising upcoming course dates Liaising with trainers and managing trainer availability Booking trainers against scheduled courses Helping ensure courses have appropriate rooms, equipment and resources Promoting courses through social media and other online channels Creating and scheduling regular social media posts Responding to social media enquiries and directing potential customers towards suitable courses Contacting previous customers and businesses regarding upcoming training Helping identify opportunities to increase delegate numbers and course bookings Maintaining delegate, trainer and customer databases Supporting the preparation of course paperwork and certification records Providing general administrative support to the Training Centre Manager and wider team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and able to manage several priorities at once Confident speaking to customers by telephone and email Friendly, professional and customer focused Comfortable chasing outstanding payments when necessary Confident using Microsoft Office, email and online systems Comfortable using social media platforms for business Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks Accurate with records and administration Commercially aware and willing to actively help promote our courses Reliable and able to work to deadlines
Previous experience within a training provider, education centre, awarding organisation, security industry or similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Experience with social media, course booking systems, CRM systems or invoicing would also be beneficial.
What We’re Looking For
This is not simply a data-entry position.
We want someone who will take ownership of the training calendar and help make sure our courses are organised, advertised and filled.
The successful candidate should be comfortable moving between administration, customer service, social media, trainer coordination and basic sales activity throughout the working day.
