Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Train Conductor/ Ticket Seller to join Torquay Landtrain. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of passengers and the dispensing of tickets. Do you have a friendly, bubbly persona and love working outside? Duties
- Safely operate train doors and oversee passenger boarding and disembarking processes.
- Sell tickets, handling cash and card payments.
- Communicate effectively with train drivers and report any issues.
- Assist passengers with enquiries and questions of Torbay area and ensure their comfort throughout the journey.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Prior experience in a customer facing/ tourism environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
