Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Holiday Cover staff member to provide high-quality childcare during holiday periods. The role involves supporting the nursery team in delivering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children to gain valuable practical experience within a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and play activities
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a secure setting for children and staff Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education training are desirable
- Ability to work flexibly during holiday periods, including mornings, afternoons, or full days as required
- A caring attitude with the ability to engage children positively and support their developmental needs
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
