Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures, adhering to established standards of hygiene and safety
- Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring proper segregation and disposal procedures are followed
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
- Support the management team with inventory checks for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Communicate effectively with residents or staff to address cleaning schedules or special requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
Qualifications
- Proven experience in domestic or hospitality cleaning roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with team members and residents or visitors
- Excellent organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, or similar applications for record-keeping purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with leadership qualities to take initiative when needed
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
- Familiarity with IT tools used for scheduling or reporting is advantageous but not mandatory
