Job Overview
We are seeking a part time barista who will be responsible for creating delicious beverages and some food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently and manage payments
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, following food safety standards
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed. - Prepare meals such as sandwiches, bagels, eggs on toast.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions - Kitchen, food handling, food prep experience
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- A helpful attitude towards customers and colleagues
Hours/shifts
At the moment the days/ hours required are Tuesdays, Thursdays & occasional Saturdays.
10-3.
Cover for our full time barista will be required from time to time.
The lodge coffee shops have branches in other locations so extra shifts are available.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
