Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. We are particularly interested in you if you have had bathroom fitting experience as we are looking to offer our customers our high standards in this service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage in residential environments
- Service heating systems such as boilers, radiators, thermostats, and related components to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete projects accurately and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with team members to plan installation layouts and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Lift heavy components safely while adhering to health and safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for each project
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, heating system installation, repair, or maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing fixtures, heating units, welding techniques, and assembly processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills for structural adjustments or installations
- Clean driving license.
- Gas Safe Registered
- 2-3 years experience in the industry.
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalents.
