We are currently recruiting for a Parts Manager to join us at our Vertu Renault York dealership, representing one of the most recognised and innovative automotive brands in the market. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE up to £40,000, plus company benefits including a share incentive scheme and much more.

As our Parts Manager, you will oversee the parts department and be responsible for maximising departmental profitability and achieving the departmental business plan. You will also be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining resources, including stock and equipment, while minimising the risk of financial loss to the company. You will lead and develop the team to create a motivational working environment, support colleague retention, encourage continuous improvement, and promote enhanced performance across the department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to meet business demands
- Leading, motivating, and developing the parts team to achieve departmental objectives
- Building strong relationships with internal departments and external customers
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and implementing improvements where required
It is essential that you can demonstrate a successful track record within a managerial position in a Parts Department. You must have strong leadership and people management skills, as your primary focus will be to lead your team to successfully deliver their business objectives.
You will be expected to drive the business forward, maximise customer satisfaction, and ensure operational efficiency whilst motivating and managing the team. You will also demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
