We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that each visit is enjoyable and memorable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and seating areas.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Skills
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
