This is an exciting opportunity to join Calderdale College as part of our dynamic Music and Performing Arts department.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and industry-informed Music Lecturer with expertise across the music sector, particularly in live sound. The successful candidate will play a key role in collaboratively developing a new, industry-driven programme while supporting the delivery of Level 2 and Level 3 Music Technology provision.
This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about live sound, sound technology, education, and who is committed to creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences. You will work within our specialist facilities, including professional studio environments and up-to-date Mac suites, helping students to develop both creatively and technically.
Teaching and delivery will include a range of approaches such as hands-on workshops, industry-focused projects, and collaborative learning experiences. You will support students in developing the technical skills, professional behaviours, and creative vision required to succeed in today’s evolving music and creative industries.
