Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring ingredients, and assembling sandwiches.
- Cook and assemble sandwiches efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards
- Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and ensuring the kitchen remains organized and hygienic
- Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking supplies, and rotating stock appropriately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene and sanitation
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar food service environment is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
