Summary
We are seeking a caring and reliable Night Care Assistant to join our team at The Old Vicarage Allithwaite. Based in Allithwaite, this role is vital in ensuring our residents receive attentive overnight care, supporting their well-being and comfort through the night.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate overnight support to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist with personal care needs during the night.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Follow care plans accurately to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards including cleaning communal areas.
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members to ensure seamless care.
- Document observations and actions taken during your shift.
- Support the overall wellbeing of residents through attentive and respectful care.
- Attend training where required
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans.
- Reliable with a caring attitude.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
