Temporary Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR)
£12.82 per hour + performance-based commission
Short-term temporary position | Late August to mid-September | Potential for future campaign work
At We Have a Meeting (WHAM), we're looking for a number of Junior Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our team on a short-term temporary basis to support an upcoming campaign.
The role will run for a few weeks from late August through to around mid-September, so it's ideal if you're looking to earn some extra cash, gain some sales experience or fill a gap between other commitments.
This could be perfect if you're:
- A university student looking for work during your break.
- Between jobs and looking for something short-term.
- A freelancer, musician, performer or creative between projects.
- Looking for temporary work before travelling or starting something new.
- Keen to gain some hands-on sales experience.
- Simply looking for a few weeks of paid work and ready to get stuck in.
You don't need to be looking for your forever job. We're looking for good people who can commit to the campaign, bring plenty of energy and aren't afraid of picking up the phone.
What you'll be doing:
- Making outbound calls as part of a structured campaign.
- Starting conversations and asking good questions.
- Following our sales process and campaign approach.
- Keeping accurate notes and updating campaign information.
- Working towards individual and team targets.
We'll give you the training, guidance and support you need to get going.
Who we're looking for:
Previous sales experience is useful, but it's not essential. We're more interested in whether you're:
- Confident speaking to new people.
- Comfortable picking up the phone.
- Friendly, curious and a good communicator.
- Reliable and able to commit for the duration of the campaign.
- Resilient and comfortable working towards targets.
- Quick to learn and happy to take feedback.
- A sound person.
Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, recruitment or other people-focused roles could be a great fit.
Pay & future opportunities
You'll earn £12.82 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional commission based on performance.
This is a short-term temporary position, but if you perform well, there may be opportunities to work with WHAM again on future campaigns.
