Graphic Designer
We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic person to join the design team at our print production business. You will be working with client briefs to create print files primarily for the hospitality and property sectors.
This role would suit most levels of experience provided the skillsets and ability are a match for the position.
You will have the ability to handle a busy environment and multiple smaller design jobs in one day. Time management and handling a fast paced environment are essential skills. Most importantly you will be able to produce designs and layouts to a high standard.
You will have the communication skills to work directly with our valued customers and with colleagues.
Normal full time working hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday.
Your responsibilities
- Content: Your role will be the design and layout primarily of menus, drinks lists and property marketing materials following customer briefs and brand guidelines.
- Administration: You will be responsible for managing orders, reading customer briefs, updating time tracking and reporting for billing.
- Communication: You will need to speak to colleagues and customers in a helpful, professional and respectful manner.
- Time management: You will be responsible for managing your workload and working to expected timescales.
Skill and experience requirements
- Good working knowledge of Adobe CC particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Good page layout skills
- Some understanding of print production
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage your own time and projects

We are a family owned business with a team currently around 25 across all areas of the business and 5 in the design team.
