About Mount Cook
Mount Cook Adventure Centre is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing access to the outdoors to all, especially young people and those would not otherwise have the opportunity. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for the outdoors, and who would relish in the chance to work in an activity orientated establishment.
About the role
We are looking for a reliable and practical Handy Person to join our friendly team, helping with general maintenance, repairs, and improvement work across our site.
The role would suit someone with a good all-round skill set and a positive, can-do approach. Plumbing and joinery skills would be particularly useful, along with the ability to work safely, independently, and to a good standard.
We can be flexible on working patterns but would want to cover 12-16 hours per week, and we are happy to consider applicants looking for either employed or self-employed work, depending on experience and availability.
This role is subject to a DBS check and in line with the requirement of the current immigration and asylum legislation, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the U.K.
