We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of their designated section within the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee the daily operations of a specific section within the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and contribute ideas to enhance the culinary offerings.
- Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Manage stock levels within your section, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training where necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations before, during, and after service.
- Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
- Previous restaurant experience is desirable, along with serving skills that enhance guest interactions.
