We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Nursery Manager to lead a friendly Early Years team at a beautiful rural nursery in Somerset. The role will be a fixed 1 year contact, 38 hours a week across 4 days.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, learning and safeguarding, while creating a positive and supportive environment for children, families and colleagues.
About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership to the nursery team.
- Ensure the nursery consistently meets all statutory, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Lead, motivate and develop staff through coaching, supervision and performance management.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and the wider community.
- Ensure the nursery remains a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment for every child.
About You
The nursery is looking for someone who has:
- A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum (Level 5 or above is desirable).
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for providing outstanding early years education and care.
- The ability to inspire and support a team to achieve their very best.
