We're opening an exciting new Afro hair salon in Aberdeen and are looking for talented Hair Braiders to join our team.

The Role
You'll provide professional Afro hair braiding services while delivering an exceptional experience for every client.
You'll also play an important part in the day-to-day running of the salon by welcoming customers, assisting with retail sales, and helping create a clean, friendly and professional environment.
We'd love to hear from you if you can confidently do any of the following styles:
- Knotless Braids
- Box Braids
- Cornrows
- Stitch Braids
- Passion Twists
- Senegalese Twists
- Butterfly Locs
- Natural Hair Styling
If you specialise in additional hairstyles, we'd love to hear about them too.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hair braiding services
- Provide outstanding customer service from consultation to completion
- Recommend and sell hair extensions and hair care products
- Keep your workstation clean, organised and professional
- Build lasting relationships with clients and encourage repeat bookings
- Support the day-to-day running of the salon
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Afro hair braiding, this can be non-professional (essential)
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Friendly, professional and confident with customers
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for Afro hair and helping clients feel their best
